Joan Miró - Source of inspiration

During the last weeks, we the sixth graders have been working on artist Joan Miró. We have gathered in pairs and created both a painting and a sculpture inspired by Joan Miró. We have used tempera paint for the paintings and various materials for the sculptures. Eventually, we have briefly explained the outcome in English to our classmates.

Les darreres setmanes, els alumnes de 6è hem treballat l'artista Joan Miró. Per parelles, hem creat una pintura i una escultura inspirada en Joan Miró. Hem emprat pintura al temple per a les pintures i diversos materials per a les escultures. Al final, hem fet una breu exposició en anglès.

Jellyfish

We the third and fourth graders have attended a workshop on jellyfish. As a result, we created jellyfish using materials such as cardboard and silk paper. Truth be told, we did a great job and our classrooms look lovely!

Els alumnes de 3r i 4t hem fet un taller sobre grumers. N'hem creats a partir de materials com ara cartó i paper de seda. Mirau que bé han quedat i com de guapes estan les nostres aules.

Monsters and Christmas cards

During the last weeks, we the first and second graders have been working on two different crafts. We have made a monster using tempera paint mixed up with water and blowing with a straw. We have also made a Christmas card to wish a merry Christmas to our families.

Durant les darreres setmanes, els alumnes de 1r i 2n hem fet dues manualitats. Hem fet un monstre amb pintura al temple mesclada amb aigua i bufant amb una canyeta. També hem fet una postal de Nadal per a desitjar un bon Nadal a les nostres famílies.

Colourful stockings and more...

First and second graders have spent the last weeks creating beautiful artworks, from hand-shaped autumnal trees to colourful stockings. Various techniques and materials have been combined: crayons, cardboards and tempera paints applied with cotton swabs, sponges and brushes. The outcomes are obvious.

Els alumnes de 1r i 2n hem passat les darreres setmanes creant obres d'art precioses, des d'arbres tardorencs amb forma de mà fins a calces de colors. S'han combinat diverses tècniques i materials: ceres, cartolines i pintures al temple aplicades amb bastonets, esponges i pinzells. Els resultats salten a la vista.

It's autumn

5th graders have decorated their classroom with these beautiful autumn leaves using tempera paints. The outcome is crystal-clear.

Els alumnes de 5è han decorat la seva aula amb aquestes fulles de tardor precioses emprant pintures al temple. El resultat salta a la vista.

Five a day

Secondgraders are working these days on healthy food and the importance of a balanced diet. They have learnt that it is very important to eat at least five pieces of fruit every day. The final product has consisted of elaborating a poster with their favourite fruit.

Els de 2n han fet feina aquests dies sobre el menjar saludable i la importància de dur una dieta equilibrada. Han après la importància de menjar almanco cinc peces de fruita cada dia. El producte final ha consistit en l'elaboració d'un pòster amb les seves fruites preferides.

Mother's Day

Next Sunday is Mother's Day. Both first and secondgraders have made a frame with a picture of themselves to give to their mums. It carries the message «I love you mum».

Diumenge que ve és el Dia de la Mare. Els de 1r i 2n han elaborat un marc amb una fotografia seva per a regalar a les seves mamàs. Duu el missatge «I love you mum».
